Ministry of Information & Broadcasting Launches Nationwide Cleanliness Campaign 6.0
The Ministry of Information & Broadcasting launched Special Campaign 6.0 on October 2, 2026, to improve cleanliness and reduce pending tasks in 610 offices nationwide. Union Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw emphasized the importance of e-waste management and urged all offices to participate actively in the initiative. The campaign is designed to continue beyond its initial deadline of October 31, 2026, becoming a year-round effort. Secretary Shri Chanchal Kumar is overseeing the implementation and has directed Media Units to prioritize public engagement and promote successful efforts on social media.
