APEDA Aids Export of 1.755 MT of Organic Palmyra Jaggery Powder from Tamil Nadu to Bulgaria
The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) facilitated the export of 1.755 metric tons of certified organic Palmyra Jaggery Powder from Tamil Nadu to Bulgaria on October 15, 2026. This consignment, produced by M/s Wellbeing Foods in collaboration with M/s Chetty Exports Private Limited, marks the first entry of India's traditional Palmyra products into the Bulgarian market. The initiative aims to enhance market connections for Tamil Nadu's Palmyra-based products and provide new opportunities for local organic farmers. It encompasses 137 acres of organic cultivation, potentially improving market access and creating value chains for the farmers involved.
