ECL generates ₹2.21 crore from scrap disposal in Special Campaign 6

Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL), a subsidiary of Coal India Limited, generated ₹2.21 crore through scrap disposal as part of Special Campaign 6, which focuses on enhancing workplace cleanliness and efficiency. The campaign, reported on October 16, 2026, involved the disposal of 413.5 metric tonnes of scrap and the clearance of 62,720 square feet of space. ECL also reviewed 647 physical files and 3,098 e-files, making significant strides in optimizing records management. The initiative aims to improve resource utilization and reduce redundant materials within the organization.
