MCL Enhances E-Waste Management in Its Facilities During Special Campaign 6

Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) is actively enhancing its e-waste management efforts as part of Special Campaign 6, which runs until October 31, 2026. The initiative includes setting up e-waste collection kiosks to ensure the responsible disposal of electronic items through authorized recycling channels. Employees are participating in cleanliness drives, having already cleaned 73 out of 240 identified sites, and awareness activities are being conducted to educate staff and local communities about the dangers of improper e-waste disposal. The campaign aims to dispose of 600 metric tonnes of scrap and has already managed the disposal of 350 HEMM batteries.
