SHILP SAMAGAM MELA 2026 Underway in Mysuru Since October 11
The SHILP SAMAGAM MELA 2026 is currently taking place at the Mysuru Dasara Exhibition Grounds in Karnataka, organized by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment since October 11. This nine-day event, which runs until October 19, showcases traditional handicrafts and handloom products from artisans across 12 states. The initiative aims to provide a marketing platform for products made by beneficiaries from Scheduled Castes, Other Backward Classes, and Safai Karamcharis, promoting traditional craftsmanship and sustainable livelihoods. This Mysuru edition marks the first SHILP SAMAGAM MELA of the financial year 2026–27, featuring 83 stalls, with 80 allocated to artisans.
