Union Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya to Open BRICS Traditional Games 2026 in Ahmedabad
Union Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya will inaugurate the BRICS Traditional and Indigenous Demonstration Games 2026 in Ahmedabad on October 12, 2026. The event, organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports in collaboration with the Government of Gujarat, will take place at the Veer Savarkar Sports Complex. Delegations from BRICS member and partner countries will participate to showcase their traditional sports and cultural heritage. The Games aim to promote cultural exchange and heritage preservation through a non-competitive platform focused on the demonstration and documentation of traditional sporting practices.
