NCST Chairperson Antar Singh Arya Reviews ST Safeguards and Programs by Heavy Industries Ministry
Shri Antar Singh Arya, the Chairperson of the National Commission for Scheduled Tribes (NCST), conducted a review meeting on October 13, 2026, to assess the implementation of constitutional safeguards and programs for Scheduled Tribes (STs) by the Ministry of Heavy Industries in New Delhi. He was joined by senior officials from both the NCST and the Ministry, including the Secretary of the Ministry and executives from major public sector enterprises. Arya commended the Ministry's initiatives aimed at the welfare and empowerment of STs. The meeting focused on evaluating the representation of Scheduled Tribes within the Ministry and its associated organizations.
