Manoj Goel Launches ‘Khadi Mahotsav-2026’ in Mumbai to Promote Swadeshi Among Gen-Z

Shri Manoj Goel, Chairman of the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC), inaugurated ‘Khadi Mahotsav-2026’ on October 15, 2026, in Mumbai. The event aims to promote Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiative of ‘Har Ghar Swadeshi, Ghar-Ghar Swadeshi’ among Gen-Z through the ‘Baat Khadi Ki’ podcast. The festival features 77 units from 12 states, showcasing a variety of Khadi and village industry products. Goel emphasized that youth entrepreneurship and modern markets could help redefine Khadi's identity on a global scale.
