NIPER Raebareli and AstraZeneca India Collaborate to Enhance Clinical Research in 25 Regions
NIPER Raebareli and AstraZeneca India have formed a partnership to enhance clinical research capabilities in India, focusing on 25 emerging research geographies. The memorandum of understanding was signed in New Delhi on October 14, 2026, in the presence of Shri Manoj Joshi, Secretary of the Department of Pharmaceuticals. This collaboration aims to support the Government of India's Biopharma SHAKTI initiative, which seeks to establish 1,000 clinical trial sites nationwide. The initiative will involve assessing the capabilities of the selected sites and providing necessary training and support to improve their operations.
