Union Home Minister Amit Shah emphasized the need for these plans to be prioritized, time-bound, and monitored regularly to achieve tangible outcomes. Secretary of the Ministry, Dr. Ashish Kumar Bhutani, highlighted that no single model can meet the diverse needs of all States and called for the documentation and scaling of successful local innovations. The workshop also addressed the importance of modernizing cooperative banks and completing the first phase of PACS computerization by December 2026.
