Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat to present Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar on October 19, 2026, in New Delhi.

Union Minister of Culture and Tourism Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat will present the Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar for 2024 and 2025 on October 19, 2026, in New Delhi. The awards will honor 106 young artists in music, dance, and drama during a ceremony at Meghdoot Complex, Rabindra Bhavan, starting at 10 a.m. Shri Vivek Aggarwal, Secretary of the Ministry of Culture, will serve as the Guest of Honour, while Dr. Sandhya Purecha, Chairman of Sangeet Natak Akademi, will preside over the event. Instituted in 2006, the Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar recognizes young artists under 40 and includes a cash prize, a Tamrapatra, and an Angavastram.
